The Basics and Beyond I and II
offered at Advance Camera
These two sessions are to help you get the most out of your digital camera, improving your abilities to work with your equipment in a variety of photographic situations. Part I covers technical and general photographic issues including light and color as well as composition. Part II focuses more on real world situations and applying these techniques and ideas to further your photographic skills.
Learn how to use the capabilities of your camera to improve your photographic skills and creativity; get the image you want, not what the camera “thinks” is correct. These two classes show you how to move from allowing the camera to decide how the picture will look (using Auto Mode) to you being the creative talent determining exactly how the image will be created based on the functions of your camera, the basics of photography (light, exposure, and composition), and modern digital possibilities.
