Digital Photography:
Basics and Beyond
offered at Portland Community College
Course Description:
Learn how to use the capabilities of your camera to improve your photographic skills and creativity; get the image you want, not what the camera “thinks” is correct.
This course shows you how to move from allowing the camera to decide how the picture will look (using Auto Mode) to you being the creative talent determining exactly how the image will be created based on the functions of your camera, the basics of photography (light, exposure, and composition), and modern digital possibilities.
